Be Encourgaged

Prayers That Avail Much: Three Bestselling Works Complete in One Volume, 25th Anniversary Leather Burgundy (Commemorative Leather Edition)
I hope this message finds you prayerful and strong.  We need a clear mind to hear God's still voice.  I was hoping to receive a message on the harvest since this is that time of the year.  God showed me the harvest, but it was different than I anticipated.  I have received so much mail from prayer partners going through every conceivable problem.  So many people feel they are under attack.  I asked God to give me wisdom, a word of encouragement, and kept getting the same message.  For any one of us to be doing well, we all need to be doing well.  We must take personal responsibility for mutual accountability.  This means it's up to each of us individuality to help each other in order to help ourselves.  We are responsible for each other.  Like it or not.  That's what God has ordained.  We must help others in any way that we can, sometimes even at an inconvenience - it's God's will.  This coming year, many of us will be tested financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  But I guarantee - regardless of every test, if you keep your mind on God and your focus on doing what He wants you to do (even if it feels like the walls of Jericho are crumbling around you) you will make it through this barrage of calamities that seem to be happening all around us.  Years ago I would get so overwhelmed by life's adversities, and prayer alone didn't seem to help.  And then something happened.  Without even consciously knowing it, I allowed God to begin using me.  Maybe it's because I had two spiritual parents who spent their entire lives in the service to God.  I don't know when, how or why God moves us the way He does but I had to help people.  It was, and is, as much a part of me as who I am  In time, the more I submerged myself in the service of helping others, my own problems became diminished.  The more I did for someone in need, the better I felt, the more solvable my problems became.  Over the years it has become extremely clear to me, my life has proven it to me.  Do what God wants you to do, He will take care of the rest.  The Bible promises that.  "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). Do you understand the magnitude of that statement? God really makes very clear what he wants from us.

"A man reaps what he sows... Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."  (Galatians 6:7-10).
