Stop Blaming Others

Berceuse: Music of Calm and PeaceIn terms of personal happiness, you can not be peaceful while at the same time blaming others.  Sure there are times when we have to look inward.  There may be some things that we have to deal with personally.  There are times when people and/or circumstances contribute to our problems, but it is we who must rise to the occasion and take responsibility for our own happiness.

Circumstances don't  make a person, they reveal him or her.  Most important, when you are unhappy or things go wrong, remind yourself that only you can make yourself happy. When the house is a mess, rather than assuming you're the only person doing your art, clean it up!  When you're over budget, figure out where you can spend less money.  Blaming others takes an enormous amount of mental energy.  It's a "drag-me-down" mind-set that creates stress and disease.

Blaming makes you feel powerless over your own life because your happiness is contingent on the actions and behavior of others, which you can't control.  When you stop blaming others, you will regain your sense of personal power.  Life is a great deal more fun and much easier to manage when you stop blaming others, hold yourself accountable and take control!

"The Creator In Heaven Is Definitely In Control"

"God has the whole world in his hands".  He is the Almighty God Creator of Heaven and of Earth.  Heaven was always thought to be beyond the reaches of earth. After the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Anointed Messiah ascended into heaven (Mark 16:19) and "sat down at the right hand of God".  In the Old Testament, the great prophet Elijah was taken by a "whirl wind to heaven..." (II king 2:1).

Throughout the ancient world the high place was the abode of God or the gods.  The Psalmist writes, "I will lift  up my eyes to the mountains; from where my help comes". (121:1).

In Genesis 6, God prepares to blot out his creation when he "saw that wickedness of man was great on the earth."

The promises of heaven has served believers for centuries as an eternal hope, especially when times are desperate.  Whether an actual "place", a state of the mind, or some notion of a parallel universe, heaven continues to reflect a worthy goal for many questioning the afterlife.

"God watches over his children, even when they think they are alone, he said I will never leave you nor forsake you, God has the whole world in his HAND".

Spring

Spring Recipes: A Problem-Solution Approach, Second Edition

The Lord Is My StrengthSpring is the time of regeneration of new life and sacred beginnings.  I love the spring. Easter time comes around, Sunday always associates it self with spring. Grassy hills covered with blue lupine and golden California poppies.  In these beloved hills we would search for Easter eggs.  The egg, like a flowering bulb, symbolizes new life emerging from dormancy, like Christ rising from his tomb to demonstrate that life continues after death. The feeling and reassuring that each and everyday is filled with new surprises and beginnings. Bringing the wild and the cultivated together into the realm of the garden has been the beginning of my own quest. The joy of Spring time prepares you even for summer all of its delightful bursting of energy, filling the air and the long haul of merryiness.

Bring In The Tidings of the Holidays

There is just something aboutt good, tasteful art that takes your mind and spirit to a place of calmness, joy and peace.  I just love to surround myself with the things in which I desire the most, and this season, I will surround myself with great things, and also like to share some of that experience with the one's I love. "Tis the Season to you".

Winter

In Winter our gardens, like we ourselves, must have the will and determination to make it through the months of darkness to face the cold and wind full of icy evergreen and yet survive freezing turmoil beauty.

"Be Comfortable in Your Castle"

There is no place like home and being there, you know you are in your own domain, you can relax and take a load off and don't have to worry about feeling discontented.  Make your home and your surroundings the most comfortable and relaxing place ever.

The Holiday's are upon us once again.  Make sure you give your love ones and family the greatest gift of all and that's the love that keeps on giving.  "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"

"Fear Are Not In Character"

The Six Basic Fears:
There are six basic fears, with some combination of which every human suffers at one time or another. Most people are fortunate if they do not suffer from the entire six.  In the order most common are:
  • The fear of poverty
  • The fear of criticism
  • The fear of ill health
At the bottom of most of one's worries
  • The fear of loss of love of someone
  • The fear of old age
  • The fear of death
All other fears are of minor importance; they can be grouped under these six headings. Fears are nothing more than states of mind.  One's state of mind is subject to control and direction.  man can create nothing which he does not first conceive in the form of an impulse of thought.  Every human being has the ability to completely control his own mind, and with this control, obviously, every person may open his mind to the tramp thought impulses which are being released by other brains, or close the doors tightly and admit only thought impulses of his own choice. If you want riches, you must refuse to accept any circumstances that leads toward poverty. Riches meaning, financial, spiritual, mental and material estates.
